Fabien Cornilleau

Assistant engineer

Fabien is responsible for managing experimental protocols related to the research themes of the behaviour and neurobiology team. Notably, he contributes to the development of new test devices allowing the behaviour of animals and more specifically their cognitive capacities to be investigated. For this, innovative devices are being developed which enable images or symbols to be displayed on a "touch" screen. The animal can then touch these symbols to obtain a reward which is delivered automatically. Such a device potentially makes it possible to question many cognitive capacities of interest studied by the team (learning, memory, concept training, etc.). Fabien also provides technical expertise in neurobiology for the team and collaborative projects that aim to characterize the neurobiological circuits involved in behaviour. He is a member of the service board and the quality team of the unit.
